Research focus: Neural regulation of the cardiovascular and renal systems

Graduated in Biomedicine by UNISA (2007) and Master's (2010) and Ph.D. (2014) by PPG in Pharmacology at Escola Paulista de Medicina, Federal University of São Paulo (EPM-UNIFESP). Performed research internship abroad (2013-2014) at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health (University of Melbourne, Australia) under the supervision of Prof. Clive May. Postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Physiology at EPM-UNIFESP (2014-2018). She is currently an Associate Professor and Biomedic in the Department of Physiology and is a PPG advisor in Pharmacology at EPM-UNIFESP. He has experience in the field of Cardiovascular and Renal Physiology and studies the molecular and physiological mechanisms involved in the regulation of the cardiovascular and renal systems and neural mechanisms that contribute to sympathetic nervous hyperactivation in cardiovascular diseases (hypertension, chronic kidney disease and obesity).
