Linhas de pesquisa: Synaptic transmission and cell signaling

Dr. Godinho holds a PhD in Pharmacology from EPM (1992) and a postdoctoral degree in Cell Biology from the University of Miami (1995). She has a PhD in Pharmacology from the Paulista School of Medicine (EPM, 1981). She is an associate professor at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) where she teaches pharmacology classes for Medicine, Biomedicine, Nursing and Health Technologies since 1989. She is currently Head of the Cellular Pharmacology Division of the Pharmacology Department of EPM / UNIFESP ( 2011-current), researcher 1B of CNPq and Financial Director of the Brazilian Society of Experimental Pharmacology and Therapeutics (SBFTE, 2015-current). She acts as ad-hoc advisor to funding agencies such as CNPq, CAPES, FAPESP, among others. She has experience in Pharmacology, with emphasis in Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, working mainly in the following subjects: a) Signaling Mediated by G Protein Coupled Receptors, b) Extracellular cAMP-Adenosine and c) Physiopharmacology of Skeletal Muscle.
